Shmuel is the best!!! He is caring, easy to talk to and highly skilled in OCD therapy. He gave me the tools to manage my ocd so that I can live my life without being poisoned by intrusive thoughts! Highly recommend him!

I have known Shmuel for 8 years, and I can attest first hand to his professionalism and skill as a clinician. He is my absolute first choice when referring clients in the Baltimore region. Shmuel is an expert at treating anxiety and OCD...

The therapist we saw was great, but we haven’t been able to make it back due to financial issues, so I rescheduled. Then to make things worse, my husband got into a car accident and with all that chaos i completely forgot to cancel our rescheduled appointment, I called the day of, like 8 hours before It was even scheduled and was told it was up to the provider if they’d charge a no show fee, which from the contract had said $60. I asked that they could please let me know if they were going to charge so I could move money around due to our situation. Never got a call back, and was charged $100 so I ended up over drafting in the account we used for the last appointment. I put the $60 just in case but a heads up would have been nice. Had they just communicated that YES I would be charged, fine I messed up by forgetting to cancel, and I’m sure they think we are making excuses not to show up, but no. We literally have no car to make it over there, they offered zoom instead but we can’t even afford the $150 session to begin with. Just kind of shameful that they couldn’t be a little understanding and at least call like I had asked to let me know I’d be charged. You’d think therapist would be able to be more empathetic but I guess not these people. And to think I would have attempted to schedule with them again once things settled for us in a couple months, but no. Better off going to online therapy or with people who have better communication.

Avoid this place like the plague. Listen to the bad reviews, trust me. Even with her responses, if you look at them, they are passive-aggressive. I went there for an appointment and let me tell you it was AWFUL. I read a review saying she was victim blaming, she absolutely will victim blame you in a very condescending way. She was so unprofessional and rude. I even questioned whether her credentials were real because of how bad the session went. She questioned my disorders and asked if they were real – repetitively. It’s very “My way or the highway” with her. She pushed me to tell her how many traumas I had, and I told her I didn’t want to think about them. She kept pushing me and said, “So like one or two??” So, I told her “You know what, it’s more than two” and left it at that. A therapist who respects you will not push you. So, my recommendation is to look elsewhere and stay away.
