Children At Play Early Intervention Center

Terrible place to work, incompetent executive director that only got promoted because the other lady retired (should have hired someone external with the actual qualifications to be a director..) This place will definitely close soon because let's not forget all the violations they get from the Department of Health and Auditors.

Was good up until I decided I did not want to pull my children out of their school. I wanted her to get services at the school she was attending but they wanted me to pull her out and place her in their school. I got attitude from the owner, Donna, and my administrator. When I tried expressing the attitude I got from my administrator and asked if I could switch administrators Donna acted like a robot and didn't seem to care. If anything it felt as if she sided with her. Don't let them bully you into what you should do with your child! We are the parents and we know what's best for our child! They are nice in beginning but can do a complete 180 if you don't agree or express your feelings. If I could do it all over again I would have had my kids evaluated elsewhere.

Poor experience. I respect all special needs workers but this place was totally useless. It was hard to keep on top of the progress when the person running the show was a 75 year old woman. Shame on them for the likes of her!! Thankfully I took my child out in time .

My daughter needed to be evaluated for speech therapy. It consists of several meetings and evaluations. I worked with four different woman and they were all great. I would definitely recommend coming here to have your child evaluated for speech.

It's just bleak there. We bring our children there for help and there are nothing but sub-par workers there. It shocked me!! Garbage receptionist. Garbage owners:directors. Garbage teachers. Garbage therapists. There is this one worker, Shes a little girl with glasses who I am pretty sure is slow. My child has issues but I need someone who is capable. Responsible and SANE helping my PDD son at his age. What a waste of my son's time. We go there for "help" and we received idiots!!! I've cried too many times for the months I wasted at Children at Play. Not anymore. he's getting a REAL education. Shame on them. Never go there.
