We recently moved from California to Texas, and Cortica has made the transition unbelievably smooth for our family. We loved our doctor and MA back in California, so I was nervous about switching care—but the transfer process was easy, fast, and stress-free. All of our information was handled seamlessly, and we were able to continue services without interruption. Here in Texas, our new MA, Beth, and Dr. Erwin have been nothing short of amazing. They both make us feel heard, respected, and supported. We received medication refills on time with no delays, and they scheduled an in-person appointment within a very reasonable time frame. The whole team truly works together and makes you feel like your child’s care is their priority. After experiencing Cortica in two different states, I can confidently say their standard of care is consistent, compassionate, and genuinely child-centered. We are very grateful for everything they’ve done for us—both in California and now in Texas.

We have been happy with the therapists and doctors we have seen in person, but honestly their communications via email make it very difficult for parents to keep up. Multiple appointments will be listed in the same email but completely out of order and the associated paperwork is also scattered through the emails. I have brought this to their attention as it has caused a delay in my daughter’s care and they really haven’t made any effort to improve. If we are handling 5 different things at the same care center, the least they could do is communicate in order and at a decent time for each appt. It’s frustrating to be on this end of their emails as a parent.its even more unacceptable when it’s causing delays in care but no improvements have been made.
