Great Strides Behavioral Consulting

Great strides has been such a blessing in our family’s life. They were very quick to get my son services 2 years ago when we were waitlisted by many other organizations. They have been very flexible with listening to feedback and making changes as needed and working through the very tricky pandemic scenario as gracefully as possible. My son made great progress there over time, and now he is in a general public kindergarten and doing great! He still has a home visit once a week for support and helping to advocate for his continuing development and growth. My younger son is nearly three and started at great strides almost a year ago. His speech/ vocabulary and other skills have grown exponentially since starting there! The staff has all been great and seems to really care about the kids, and they have been very willing to periodically tweak schedules and programming as needed. If you’re searching for a place to access services for your child, I would highly recommend Great strides!!

Finding a place for my son wasn’t an easy task as it’s very hard to trust someone with your nonverbal toddler/child. When we finally found great strides and never looked anywhere else. They set my mind at ease knowing we chose the right fit for our son. We love the staff who became our family. The growth and great start they gave to our son and family is not measurable. They don’t conform to the typical ABA cookie cutter curriculum. They teach and guide to help our children to be able to preform in everyday life circumstances. My child went from nonverbal to speaking sentences within a few years here. He preforms daily tasks as in washing his face, brush teeth and hair and even clears the table after eating. From eating at the table, potty training, riding a bike, learning to except no, and so much more this facility helps guide you and your child with ease! The parent meetings are so helpful they go above and beyond!! We love it here.

Under the care of their therapists my sons have gone from non-verbal to full sentences in a couple of years. The growth I see in my children continues to amaze me on a daily basis. Everybody feels like family here. My kids love going. I couldn’t be happier.

My child once went to this place. Their staff are very average. Not many experienced Therapists.They are not flexible and also not open for feedback.
