TMS is not something that most therapists are actively recommending to patients with OCD, but it is a gamechanger. Medications were not super effective for me and had really negative side effects. While TMS was very emotional and wasn't the most comfortable process at times, it was extremely effective for me. The support of every person in the office at Idaho TMS was above and beyond. I really wish I had known about this when I was younger.

From my first appointment, Sarah Trued demonstrated exceptional care by taking the time to truly listen and understand my situation. She prescribed an anti-depressant that has been remarkably effective for me. My mental health has improved significantly in a relatively short period, which I attribute largely to Sarah's dedication, genuine kindness, and even her sense of humor, which made the process feel more approachable during difficult times. If you or anyone you know require assistance, I would not hesitate reaching out to her. Additionally, the entire staff has been consistently responsive and caring, demonstrating a level of follow-through with their patients that has genuinely impressed me and exceeded my expectations based on prior healthcare experiences.

I first became a patient at Idaho TMS sometime in early 2024. I was a patient for a number of months when my provider left and I took about ten months time off before I returned as a patient again to the same practice with a provider that had the same speciality and sub speciality as my previous provider.. Now before continuing let me quote directly from the American Academy of Professional Coders; “An established patient is one who has received professional services from the physician/qualified healthcare professional or another physician/qualified healthcare professional of the exact same specialty and subspecialty who belongs to the same group practice, within the past three years.” If the patient has been seen before within the same practice, even if they switched doctors, they are an established patient” I received a bill that had me coded as a new patient visit for $411. This became a topic of contention when I contacted the office and explained that I had been a patient of the practice not even a year prior and that I was seeing a provider with the same speciality and sub specialty as my previous provider. I was told that my new provider was made aware of my concern but “he was coding it that way because it has been almost a year since I had been in and I was a new patient to him”. I explained this was him not following proper coding and making up arbitrarily time periods for new vs established patient and was then directed to their third party billing company. I explained the situation and they looked over the details, saw I was correct, and then rebilled me correctly this time as an established patient lowering the amount by almost $150. Now, suddenly on my October statement, there is a new charge that is dated back to the same time as my initial visit with my new provider that was not on my July statement for a service that was never provided to me, but conveniently makes up for the difference in money that was “lost” to the provider for the new vs established patient visit total. I called the Idaho TMS office to question what was going on and was told “well he probably did that since you are now being billed as an established patient vs new patient”. I was so flabbergasted that they would come out like this and admit they were manipulating the system and incorrectly coding visits retroactively that I had nothing to say. I called the third party billing company and explained that this new charge had been added retroactively almost 6 months since the initial visit and that I have records showing this charge was not previously on my bill, not to mention the fact that that secretary told me on the phone it was added since the coding for new vs established patient had been changed and rebilled. They sent an email to Idaho TMS to get clarity on the charge but my insurance has already been scammed out of their portion for this new charge of a service never provided to me. I was contacted today by the office manager who was a very polite gentleman but I was fed quite a load of BS telling me it was a old charge that was just now showing up supposedly and the fact that the cost makes up for the difference in new vs old patient cost down to almost the dollar was pure coincidence. I was told their providers have no idea how much different charges are and aren’t trying to take anything out of my pocket. Suffice to say I will no longer be a patient here. Now, since the provider was so insistent on getting his extra $150 that wasn’t rightfully his, they have lost out on $1000’s of future appointments that I would have had.

I cannot say enough great things about TMS Idaho! The entire staff is incredibly compassionate, professional, and dedicated to their patients’ well-being. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. The TMS treatment itself has been life-changing for me, and I’ve experienced significant improvement in my mental health. The team took the time to explain every step of the process and ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire journey. If you’re considering TMS therapy, I highly recommend TMS Idaho for their exceptional care and results!
