Barb has completely changed the trajectory of our son's learning. He has gone from not knowing what he was looking at on the page to being right where his reading level is supposed to be. Barb shows you her methods so you can duplicate them at home and works with the school system to help educators understand what dyslexics are experiencing in the classroom. We are so glad and fortunate to have found her.

Barb Rounds has been the secret sauce in helping our daughter unlock the power of her brain and turning her dyslexia into a strength & a positive point of distinction. Working with Barb has resulted in many benefits, the top 3 being: 1) increased reading competency and interest (our daughter reads all the time now on her own!) 2) increased confidence when tackling reading, or any subject at school for that matter 3) helping us - the parents - learn how to best approach and assist our child for success If your child is struggling with reading (we noticed significant difficulty around grades 3-4; however, it can be assessed as early as kindergarten), I strongly suggest scheduling an initial meeting with Barb to talk through your concerns and meet your child. Barb is highly trained and skilled with not only dyslexia, but working with and understanding the developmental needs of your child. I wish we would have found Barb sooner, but I'm thankful we are working with her now.
