Knapp Center for Childhood Development

Really awful communication, had an appt in March but wasn’t told he was diagnosed at that appointment….for SEVEN MONTJS! My son’s care has been significantly delayed due to this. They say check your spam for an email but they never call you or leave a voice mail, let alone mail anything to you. Only reason it's not a 1 star is because the receptionist staff is nice.

This center is very nice & we liked the psychologist my child saw (April Topfer) Akron Children’s Hospital had us wait almost a year for just a nurse intake call to then tell me my son will have to wait 2 years for an appointment!! The Knapp center got us in in under 2 months, we're very thankful for a place like this that's also nearby for treatment!

Impossible waitlist (18months and counting), no one returns phone calls. It was one thing while they were preparing to moving and in transition of moving but that was a year ago!
