Claim your listing!I just did my 28 day treatment and I loved every minute I was there. The counselors (especially Tony, Beth, Kendra and Krista) are wonderful, the techs, the nursing staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. It is the greatest place I never want to go to again!!

I called them because I was experiencing suicidal thoughts and wanted to get back on meds which I have previously seen them for. I talked to a nurse for about 11 minutes, and then was ghosted. I do NOT recommend them for anything as when I did see a therapist through them, I was constantly invalidated and deadnamed/misgendered. They do NOT take you seriously and clearly show they don't care. Absolute gardbage. The receptionist is nice, only part of this awful place I liked.

I'd like to give them a better review because everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, but we utilize them to manage my son's medication. In the 7 months that they have been managing his meds they have yet to refill on time. Both my wife and the pharmacist has called and then the pharmacist also uses fax and email. Each method was tried multiple times. Each time has caused him to be without meds for more than a few days at a time. If she had not squirreled away a few pills in anticipation that this was going to happen it would have been longer. It is not fair to my son to have to go through this because these meds do actually make a difference.

Im not sure how they treat patients with with Schizophrenia or those types of disorders- But in my experience, Lewis and Clark is NOT the place to go for Anxiety or Depression. Not counting my own experience, ive heard countless intances where folks wanting to commit suicide were treated as a JOB with very little sympathy and staff did not react to the situation as if it were an emergency. I am not sure about the therapists, i can not speak about them. Thumbs down 👎 for front desk help and psychiatrists who will treat you differently as you are not a "functioning member of society". This is sad to see in the Behavioral health feild. Ive been referred to Avera Behavioral Health by a Doctor at the Yankton Health Clinic because she, too, had gotten many complaints about Lewis and Clark.

I have not been through drug rehab nor do I think that I need it? I do think that this facility is helpful I feel like the psychologists are down to earth and understanding, especially the 20+ year psychologists. They are so good that they don't have to take notes; while you are in a session. Makes it feel like you're just talking with your girlfriend, very calming. It was court ordered that I took mandatory counseling when I was a teenager. I feel bad for my counseler, because of my demeanor, being a immature teenager. I worry she felt like our sessions were unproductive and a waste of her time. The facility and Yankton is a little bit more tucked away it's in between the prison and Broadway street. It's not on a main road. The facility in Vermillion, South Dakota is right on Main Street. In front of the court house you cannot miss it.
