The therapist is excellent but the telehealth online platform is incredibly wonky. 50% of the time I have to call the main office and wait to speak to someone to get the link to the zoom session. One time my son missed his appointment

Before scheduling with lifestance. I was told that my insurance coverage had to be verified. Supposedly it was verified, and an appointment was scheduled In fact 2 sessions

Awful experience, Dr Jean Baptiste has no sense of duty or compassion and she completely abandoned me after my father died. When I told her of his passing, she did not move up my appointment despite my fragile state. Then with two days notice, she canceled my appointment knowing my need to see her as soon as possible. When I messaged her to let her know how disappointed I was with her lack of assistance in my time of need, she dropped me as a patient through a message on the patient portal. So unprofessional, this act by a doctor I trusted and relied on is heartless and has left me grieving and having to try to find a new doctor in the midst of my meds not working. Her receptionist was just as unsympathetic and unhelpful, even hanging up on me after I asked to speak with the office manager. I would not recommend Dr Jean Baptiste, in fact steer clear because to drop a patient in their greatest hour of need is inhumane and frankly goes against her Hippocratic oath.

The therapist is excellent but the telehealth online platform is incredibly wonky. 50% of the time I have to call the main office and wait to speak to someone to get the link to the zoom session. One time my son missed his appointment because the link never came and I wasn’t home to help him… this no show appointment cost me $100! The link to the appointment waiting room is supposed to automatically be sent after u check in. It’s very annoying! Also I have asked someone to call me from the office when the one answering the call doesn’t have answers and they don’t call. If it wasn’t for my son liking his therapist I’d have twitched to another place.

Update: was told to email support and I did. One month all I hear is "Thank you for your email, Samantha. We have shared your feedback with our team for further assistance here". Emailed right back a week later for an update and ghosted?!? What a joke _____ Easy to set up an appointment but careful with cancelling an appointment. Had to email to cancel my appointment on a Friday due to not being able to go online for my Monday appt and Google having incorrect office hours so I couldn't call. Lisa was great at getting back to me but suddenly 10 days after my canceled appointment I got a statement of $100. I emailed and waiting to get back. Hopefully I can get this fixed because it's left a bad impression, especially since, after many years trying to get the courage, this was my very first time trying to see a therapist. Got me more stressed than I should be

Before scheduling with lifestance. I was told that my insurance coverage had to be verified. Supposedly it was verified, and an appointment was scheduled In fact 2 sessions I was the told the provider did not accept my insurance(mind you after verified). Not only could I not schedule more appointment with the provider. But that I would have to pay the entire sessions. I refused, and sent them a bill for 5he waisted time. Totally incompetent office staff Rating actually-5

Dr. Baptiste has gone above and beyond to provide me with the support I need. It has been my understanding that a Psychiatist is "primarily responsible for medication management." I am very grateful that Dr. Baptiste took the time to patiently listen, giving me time to find a therapist! Dr. Baptiste is VERY "COMPETENT, CARING," and I appreciate the support provided! :-)
