We were having major issues with our 3 year old not sleeping through the night and coming into our bedroom to sleep. Dr. Zeltser worked with us and was amazing in not only getting our daughter to sleep through the night but address other problems in her daily routine that was leading to her sleep issues. It was a LONG process and Dr. Zeltser was so patient with us, as new parents, guiding us through every step and ensuring we had the tools we needed to get over this hurdle. We're so grateful for the time, compassion, and guidance she gave to us and our daughter!

We had a wonderful experience with this team. We worked with Dr. Karen Surowiec who was outstanding with out daughter and provided a great experience over all. We had booked a full neuropsych evaluation for our daughter and wanted to make sure she was placed with someone who understood female presenting autistic people. This is actually rarer than you would think. We had some small issues in the beginning with booking that were resolved promptly. I do not expect business to be perfect, they just need to meet issues as they come. They did this for us and everything ran smoothly after that. My daughter had a wonderful experience and trusted Karen. She thought she was playing fun brain games the whole time. I was able to be present for some of the testing and for some I left. I felt very confident my daughter was well taken care of while I was away. She always came out smiling. Karen met with us after, was able to talk to us frequently along the way and give us updates. We received our report promptly and it also came full of resources. We did not feel pressured to buy more services but they are available. This is a smaller practice and over all I think that that brings more value as it is not a mill. I did see some other reviews here both great and meh, I always feel bad for medical practices when people leave reviews that they really cannot respond to for ethical reasons, in the end you need to interview the business and understand some things are out of their control. I picked this place because I felt like a smaller practice that was very focused would be best for our family and I was confident after speaking with them in their care.

Hi everyone, I would like to tell big thanks to Manhattan Psychology Group for all help and support they provided for my family. We have been going through really difficult things with my daughter in past years and Doctor Chelsey Rosen and Board Certified Behavior Analyst Lindsey Zenk put a lot of professional help and support together towards to her. We are more than happy to get great progress and big results from therapy sessions with Lindsey Zenk. The therapist has been working with our daughter for 2 months and has been able to make her speak at the school and other public places. They have not only a high level of professionalism but also beautiful personalities. All team of Manhattan Psychology Group was very helpful from the beginning to the end of our journey. For a year and a half, my 4.5-year-old son with Autism received ABA therapy through Manhattan Psychology Group on an almost daily basis. While the company's behavior technician, Natalie B., was in some ways very helpful for most of the time that she worked with him, the way MPG abruptly ended its relationship with my family was incompetent, evasive, absurdly self-righteous, and insensitive to our son in a way that disregarded the challenges and vulnerabilities he experiences as a child with ASD. Frankly, what they did ran the risk of causing my son serious emotional and psychological damage, and they completely violated the ABA-therapy principles that Natalie and her supervisor used and championed to me and my wife, over and over again, nearly every day. From the very beginning of working with our son, Natalie emphasized to me and my wife the vital importance of avoiding sudden, unexpected changes in the life of a kid with ASD, especially in regards to their everyday routines. It's one of the core principles of ABA therapy, and, as a parent of a child with ASD, I can attest to how essential it is to avoid such changes. What did she do? The complete opposite. At the end of the summer, my wife and I were told that Natalie would, in a couple of months, need to end her time working with our son because she would be moving on to a different position in the company. Obviously, that wasn't a problem and we were happy for Natalie's career advancement, even though we knew this would present a major difficulty for our son as he has difficulties with major changes like this. Ashley L. assured us that Manhattan Psychology Group would do everything they could to find another ABA technician to replace Natalie in time for Natalie to help orient the new person and ease the transition for our son. Natalie, without confirmation that MPG would definitely be able to find someone, repeatedly told our son that she would introduce him to a "new friend" and that they would all get to spend time together before she stopped working with him. As it became clear that the company was struggling to find a replacement, we were told Natalie agreed to continue working very reduced hours with our son until Nov 1. She continually told our son that she would "see him in the mornings in October and then her friend would see him starting in November." Natalie's session with our son on October 24 proceeded as normal, with everyone laughing together as Natalie left our home. Then, the evening of Oct 25, my wife and I received a very shady email from Ashley L. telling us that Natalie's services had been discontinued as of that day. No explanation. No details. No advance notice. In fact, it was fewer than 12 hours before Natalie was supposed to have her next session with our son. My wife and I were in shock, and we texted Natalie and the BCBA to try to find out what was going on. No answer. When we followed up with Ashley and Ariel K. about why Natalie left so abruptly and why she couldn't just finish the 4 sessions she had left with our son, Ariel vaguely alluded to Natalie deciding not to come any more, and, beyond that, she and Ashley refused to elaborate on anything else. Ashley and Ariel both said that discontinuing the services was the ethical thing to do, but the manner in which they did so violated the very principles of providing ABA therapy to a little kid with Autism. Natalie telling our son over and over again that she would be coming to see him until November, and, then, disappearing from his life unexpectedly with no notice or preparation is not ethical in any shape or form. I strongly recommend that anyone serious about the well-being of their child avoid using Manhattan Psychology Group, in light of the way Natalie B. and other staff members terminated my son's services.
