Working with Nicole at Pace was genuinely life changing for me. I want to be transparent in saying that My impatience while waiting for results was related to my disability and not a lack of trust or appreciation. Although I was anxious about my results, these reports and evaluations do take a huge portion of time on both the doctors and insurance ends. Nicole handled that reality with grace, professionalism, and deep understanding. I never felt dismissed, rushed, or judged. She also would apologize if life got in the way and she had a delayed response to my email, which I appreciate as someone who values honesty and accountability. The report she provided was one of the most thorough, thoughtful, and detailed documents I’ve ever received from a medical professional. It didn’t just list symptoms. It connected patterns, explained why things show up the way they do, and reflected my lived experience in a way that made me feel truly seen like I had never before. For the first time, I have clear answers and language that allow me to pursue treatment that actually aligns with how my brain works and how my life functions. That clarity is priceless. I’m incredibly grateful for Nicole’s care, patience, and expertise, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking an evaluator who truly understands neurodivergent adults.

I did not like my experience here, I don’t feel like my assessment was thorough enough. I met with her, the adhd test was just me pressing a button over and over for like 10 mins. I came back a week later and she didn’t even remember who I was or why I was there. Someone else was in there when doing my assessment, which I hated. They rushed through my IQ test. After all the testing was done, I asked if anything else was needed from me, I was told no, they would reach out if they needed anything. Weeks went by, I was waiting for my report, they finally emailed me saying they’re waiting on me to finish a test they sent. What test? No one reached out to me! I asked for someone to call me and her assistant lied and said she lost her voice and couldn’t contact me. Then contacted me the next day as if I forgot her lie! You magically got your voice completely back the next day? Very unprofessional! I was told heather would go over my results with me and she didn’t. I didn’t hear from heather at all after our second meeting. I went home and cried for hours after our first meeting but thought I was just being overly sensitive. I now have to get tested again somewhere else because I don’t trust the results I got here.

Heather’s work is truly extraordinary. She is a true public servant and advocate for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. I can’t say enough about how thorough she is. If I could nominate her for a Nobel prize, I would. I am not exaggerating when I say that this woman deserves some kind of public recognition or an award for what she does.

I had a very positive experience with this practice. The environment was calm, and the overall assessment process felt thoughtful and well structured. The were kind and patient. My only constructive feedback is that the office can be difficult to reach. Once contact is made, however, the intake process is fairly smooth.

Heather has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She is very thorough, writes very detailed reports, is kind, patient, and understanding. While other psychologists can be cut and dry, not explain things well, and not take your feelings and thoughts into consideration, Heather shines in all of these areas. When mistakes are made (in wording on reports) Heather is quick to correct them. Heather also was able to get us in quicker than other places. Heather also has answered the many questions I’ve had via email, never leaving me waiting too long. The experience has been wonderful.
