They’ve been given my son what a wonderful staff my son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and he needs a lot of help and since we start getting the services from specialized autism, consultants agency, I can see a big difference in my son, the people who work in the office they are very supportive. They always replay quickly to my emails and answer my phone calls. They have a sense of humor, Ms.Easter, I want to thank her so much for giving my son the opportunity to get the help, he deserve and be independence in his future , God bless you Ms. Easter. Specialized Autism Consultants has been our provider for in-home ABA therapy for our son since he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. They have been working with our son for over two years now. At the onset of therapy our son was pretty much nonverbal and his interactions were generally very limited and he exhibited difficult behaviors such as tantrums. Now our son is a happy and social boy who loves to talk about all kinds of topics and he is fully integrated in a kindergarten classroom with an individualized education plan (IEP). Our BCBA and therapist from Specialized Autism Consultants have guided us in every step of the way and helped us tackle every challenge such as for example toilet training. Their service overall has been nothing short of outstanding. They are highly professional, knowledgeable, diligent and dedicated. The BCBA provided us with tools such as visuals, token economy charts, schedules and more as needed that we could use outside of therapy to help our son become more independent in his daily living activities and effectively manage challenging behaviors such as tantrums and non-compliance. The BCBA monitors his progress by reviewing data and providing supervision to therapist on regular basis and also meets with parents regularly to discuss any concerns and train and coach parents. The BCBA also makes every effort in collaborating with other providers such as his teachers and speech therapist. She also attends our IEP meetings at school. In short, we could not have done this without their support. If you consider seeking their service don’t hesitate. I highly recommend their services without any reservation!

I am so impressed with Specialized Autism Consultants ! I had interviewed another agency that seemed interested only in the excellent insurance coverage I had for services From the first time I met Andrea I knew my son was in good hands ! Anna, Becky, and Andrea are kind, compassionate , and very patient with my son. Our entire family’s input is always welcome at each session , which is so helpful since my son has difficulties w generalization skills. In my opinion , they are in for the money only, with no understanding of ABA . I met with other parents who also had to terminate their services : we all felt that this company lack passion and understanding of ABA. Siblings are not welcomed/ allowed to come to the room. Time is spent on writing data down, and NO TIME on changing/working on the child behavior.
