I've been bringing my 7 yo asd1 son to this location for a year and the crew is absolutely amazing. In the year that my son has been coming here, his growth has been wild. Any time I have a question about progress or any concerns I have, they've been prompt to integrate it into his plan.

I strongly advise against considering Treetop as a viable option for care. Over the past four months, the facility has undergone a significant transformation from a serene environment staffed by caring individuals to a setting that is no longer suitable for children. Unfortunately, our child has exhibited escalated behaviors since enrollment, and despite discussing these concerns with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the issues remain unaddressed. Furthermore, the management's response included unfounded allegations regarding our child's care at home, specifically false claims of restraint and inadequate nutrition, which is particularly concerning given the center's own staffing challenges and high turnover rate. The recent communication circulated to families, drawing comparisons between employee compensation and insurance billing, particularly those referencing illnesses in relation to finances, is in poor taste. The treatment of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) is subpar, with these employees having minimal autonomy and facing undue stress, often beginning their days in a chaotic environment without adequate preparation time for the children. The challenges that we have faced include staff meetings being held in place of children's therapy hours, the building not being secured for small children, a recent incident involving a police shootout with a fugitive in close proximity without proper notification but rather a subsequent email, and our son being hurt on a scooter that was not age-appropriate for him and being allowed to continue playing on it despite the risk. Additionally, we have observed lunch boxes being returned with open containers of milk and other products posing significant health safety risks as these items should be disposed of after use. Given these concerns, it is clear that Treetop does not prioritize the well-being of special needs children.

This facility was initially a positive experience for our family, but the quality of care has significantly declined. Team meetings are presented as collaborative but function as one-sided directives from the BCBA. Parental input is disregarded, and the child's individual needs are not genuinely considered in treatment planning. I recommend exploring other service providers that prioritize true family-centered care and collaborative decision-making.

We had an introductory meeting last week with Misti and Michael. It was helpful and informative. We look forward to giving them a tour of our DV shelter and further discussing how we can work together to benefit our clients and their children who are in need of The Treetop ABA Therapy services.
