Vermont Family Network

Family centered organization that strives to support families and their various needs when caring for their children with special needs. Whether it involves advocating for their child in the school system, getting Early Intervention services, finding fellow families with a similar disability, Sibshops... the programs go on. What an incredible asset for Vermont families to have.

It generally useful and innovative service for certain parts of the disability community. Vermont Family Network is a very parent driven organization, which from my point of view as someone with a disability has both benefits and limitations. I would like to see more inclusion and integration of people with disabilities who are not parents in the service provision process, and more focus on lifespan issues.
