My experience with the Austism Center was positive and great. The receptionists were very welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. I liked the pace of obtaining evaluation dates (no need to wait 6 months or more). Dr. Amirhoushmand was welcoming and great at facilitating the services my child needs.

Where do I start first I want to thank the Dr. and staff, for being so welcoming and treating us like family. Everything started back in November, when we had concerns about my daughter. The moment we got an appointment we went in and everybody was so welcoming from the moment going in to leaving. We saw the Dr. she heard all of our concerns and saw all of our concerns. We are so grateful for Dr. Amirhoushmand. After our son’s pediatrician refused to diagnose, she listened, observed, and was honest with us. She was thorough, transparent, and provided us with an incredible amount of information and guidance. She diagnosed our son with autism at 1 year and 10 months, giving us the clarity and direction we desperately needed. She was incredibly informative, compassionate, and validating. We had noticed early signs such as loss of words around 12 months, tiptoeing, and head shaking, and she truly acknowledged our concerns. Because of her, we were able to move forward early with the right support. We are forever thankful.

I can see why Dr. A’s office is awarded for the Inspire Award by IEHP. It was an absolute pleasure working alongside her to get my son the help he needs on his autism journey. A mother knows their children and I can see signs of autism as early as 5months in my son. When he would get visually stimulated, the excitement would run through his entire body and would tense his whole body and shake from the excitement. Then, he would miss certain milestones, and speech was the biggest indicator that I needed to seek help. Fast forward to today, he got his official diagnosis of autism with Dr. A and she only wants the best for her patients, she calls her patients her kids. She is completely immersed and dedicated in her career you can see and feel her inspiration and positive energy and gives you the confidence to take on the challenges and journey ahead. Im so grateful to have found her and hope anyone that will give her a chance to help them on their journey.
