Man oh man where do I start first of I want to thank Voz institute for first making me feel safe enough to trust them with my daughter I’m an mother of 5 and this my first time really knowing about my daughter diagnosis I was scared hurt shocked and lost and honestly I didn’t know what to do I really didn’t know where to turn but Voz took all my worries away and my daughter loves them and she’s thriving my daughter has been diagnosed as level 3 ASD and she’s nonverbal if you see my daughter at her appointments you will think twice about her being diagnosed but with the help of Voz and also me no giving up and putting my work in my baby has surprised me everyday with something new I respect Voz services so much I have my youngest daughter receiving services from them now so I have my 2 year old and 1 year old who’s thriving and I wouldn’t change nothing I’m honestly an pleased and happy mom of 2 daughter who receives services from them if you unsure please just trust me they offer OT,Feeding,PT,and speech go check them out

This school is life-changing! I am so grateful to have found OVV! It has only been a year since my daughter started studying at this school and today she is a completely different child, a child who speaks! I wish that all parents of D/HH children in the OVV area (Ohio and Kentucky) can find and have the support of this wonderful school. A special thanks to Meredith Craven and Maria who welcomed me from the first contact, to Leslie Raulie and Alysia Becker who are exceptional professionals in the Toddler Program and will do everything to make you and your child feel welcomed, to Rachel Liles (pediatric audiologist) and Julia Scherler (Speech Language Pathologist) who are exceptional professionals and work beautifully so that the child can develop to their fullest. We are so grateful for OVV and all of the ways that they have changed our son’s, and our entire family’s, life! After his hearing loss diagnosis and then starting in the toddler program, OVV has lifted a huge weight from our shoulders and we do not have to worry about speech therapy or his early development related to hearing loss. My parents are deaf and attended a residential school for the deaf, where communication barriers were a constant challenge. They relied on interpreters for doctor visits and important meetings—many times, the interpreter never arrived since the hospital or service provider did not know the steps to obtain an interpreter. When my son was born deaf, I feared he would face the same injustices my parents experienced. Instead, we discovered Ohio Valley Voices and enrolled him in the Parent-Infant Program before his first birthday. He graduated from OVV in kindergarten and is now a thriving 7th grader at a local private school. OVV fosters a warm, family-oriented environment that supports both students and their families. Their approach to speech therapy and academics feels less like work and more like play, making learning engaging and enjoyable. Beyond academics, the friendships my son and our family has formed at OVV remain strong to this day. This school has been life-changing—not just for him, but for our entire family. Thanks to OVV, my son has opportunities my parents never had, proving that he can be anything he wants to be, without the barriers my parents faced throughout their entire lives.
