Waited for almost a year to get tested, they kept canceling on us so we had to be scheduled out months in advance to just be canceled last minute again. They gave him a unspecified diagnosis and gave it to him AGAIN after a year and a half of appointments. Like what am I supposed to do with that?

They do a horrible job with the medication management and are difficult to get a hold of. They don't always call back, are rude when you do call, and have been generally unpleasant to deal with. Our doctor has been lovely but everything else is like running into a brick wall.

I am very unhappy with the way this facility is ran. We have been through 3 intake appointments, counseling services, med management, and Autism testing. All of which did not serve us well. Counseling was just play time for my son. Testing was not properly done (only 1 session of 3.5hrs with medications) and finalized after almost 5 months later with signs of spectrum but diagnosed finalized with zero. Multiple different medications that work for a couple months but end up not helping after getting adjusted to them. I was expecting some guidance from this place instead of not knowing what each program does. Where are the doctors that work with children before prescribing medications? Doctor saw my child for 5-10min in each session once a month and tells me my child looks calm and content to him. (Of coarse, because you didn’t spend enough time with him to see it) They have too much staff doing different things at this facility with no one getting to actually work with your child long enough to know them. People cannot get time off of work or school to be at your facility to see 3 different people at a time to come up with helpful solutions for your child.

I had an absolutely psychologically traumatic experience with my foster daughter's worker from Achievement Center. She wrote lies about me in her documentation, and enabled the destructive behavior I was trying to address along with my daughter's other community supports. I contacted the supervisor, but was stonewalled and gaslit. Its deeply affected my ability to trust and believe in good people in my life. Avoid avoid avoid.

I have had 2 children seen by the achievement center. They were good before LECOM took over. My son had behavioral therapy for years and then switched to mobile therapy. He did great. My adopted child only went downhill with all the mobile therapist suggestions. We tried acute partial, which was terrible she picked up so many bad behaviors. Then they forced me to put her at Millcreek community hospital, where she was bullied by other children. Given melatonin when she never had any issues falling asleep. She developed a rush while there for 12 days. Over the years, I have tried to receive copies of their plan so we can help at home. We were never able to receive a care plan copy or any of the paperwork we signed. Before we used to get a copy in the mail. I spoke to several supervisors and nothing. Spoke to the office and left several messages. The mobile therapist only showed up for maybe half of the time scheduled. Most of the therapists were part time and had a full time job elsewhere. This place is a joke
