Beacon Behavioral, LLC – Metairie

I attend here now. At first, I was hesitant on going, but I gotta say I really enjoy going to therapy. It gives me a reason to wake up early and not sleep all day. It gets me out of my house. It gives me a purpose. The therapist, Brittany, is AMAZING. Everyone in group just loves her. I feel like I'm honestly getting the help that I didn't believe I needed. She is not judgmental; she doesn't talk down to you or belittle you. She makes you feel very welcomed as well as wanted. She doesn't force you to open up if you're not ready. I absolutely recommend Beacon Behavioral Center to anyone who is looking for group therapy. You attend three days a week for three hours a day, and they even feed you lunch. It doesn't hurt to give it a try like I have, and I love it. So thank you to all the amazing people at Beacon Behavioral Center. The staff is extremely friendly and kind.💜

I'm on medicaid, the doctors there do not accept medicaid. So, I received a $460 bill from the psychiatrist's clinic.. I saw the psychiatrist 2 times for a total of maybe 20 minutes. I feel like they hid charges from me. Disappointed and angry. How am I to pay this when I have been out work for 20 months due to my daughters suicide. Watch out fior your own sanity.

Tried on several occasions to reach somebody over phone - 1 attempt put of roughly 4 was answered. Thats fine I understand you're busy. However, when I contacted them via email I was responded to almost immediately. Unfortunately, having inquired about testing / assessments was told that the waitlist was approximately "1 year out". I was given no extra information, resources, or directions. At this time I felt at a loss of effort and time. I can't understand how difficult this is going to be to undergo some tests to understand myself better and to provide actual documentation for my employer / family.
