Empower Therapy

Dirty. Poorly managed. Poor communication. Burn out. Tons of turn over, especially with leadership. Lost over half their BCBAs within a year. Client safety concerns. There are some strong people that work there and a few who really care but overall the owner and GM are money hungry and do not care about clients or their families. Seeking new clients but don't have enough support for them because they are just seeking more money.

I wish I could rate this place 0/5 stars. Strongly recommend staying away from this place, whether you are seeking services or looking to work in the field. Speaking from extensive personal experience, the company has and continues to exceedingly decline in terms of ethical practices, morale, work life balance, and especially quality of care. I was with the company long enough to see this become a cyclical occurrence with no means to an end. Things get better for a brief period, only to be followed by alarming regression in not only the areas mentioned above but across all departments and duties. They will over promise but underdeliver to both families and staff every time, do not be deceived, this is a pattern former and current employees as well as families have unfortunately experienced time and time again.

This location seems pretty unorganized and unable to maintain a stable or reliable schedule. The therapists seems nice enough and passionate about what they do, so it seems like perhaps the management is unable to keep things organized here.

Was a five star when they had Miss. Bobby. However, since the beginning of the year it's one thing after another. They call saying our kid ids sick with a fever, get there and no fever, next week waited till 845 and still not open so I left. They opened at 915 and then called asking id we were coming back and they didn't open that late. Im sorry opening more than an hour after you are supposed to open is really late. Then the next weekend pink eye so my child did not go. Then today we get told services were canceled. We never said to cancel services. We only said considering it. This place is bullshit. I will be reporting them to my insurance company. I also have pics of the day they were REALLY LATE OPENING UP. Also they were supposed rop send someone to my child's after school program and that had still yet tp happen. In addition, they say they will work around our schedule. We give a time and day and we get a response of except that day. They want to do im home therapy by a certain time but when traffic sucks it would be an hr later. Sorry, but no. If I could taste -5 stars I would. Sorry not sorry. Stay away from this place until Miss. Bobby comes back and new owners take over. EDIT: PROBLEM HAS POSSIBLY BEEN FIXED. WE WILL SEE. STARS UPDATED. EDIT NUMBER 2: BACK DOWN TO LOWEST STAR AS I CAN'T RATE NO STARS. SICK AND TIRED OF THEM SAYING THEY WILL SEND SCHEDULES OF WHO THE THERAPIST WILL BE AND WHAT DAYS SHE GOES. EXAMPLE SPRING BREAK. STILL WAITING ON THE SCHEDULE. IM SORRY, IF WE HAVE TO KEEP REMINDING THEM TO SEND THE SCHEDULE, THAT IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. STRAIGHTEN UP AND STARTS MIGHT GO BACK UP.

Stay faaaaaaaaar away from this place. The business practices are horrible. They bill your insurance company whatever they want whenever they want without your permission and he is dishonest about disclosing things like this with you. If I knew what I know now I would have never started. By the way we're still getting claims from the insurance company 2 months after we cancelled our services with them for "services rendered." The claims bill just has the line item as N130. That's it. Yeah. I'm calling my insurance company tomorrow and asking them to investigate and ban any further billing from this company. He even had the audacity to lecture me on which health insurance is better suited for his billing purposes.

We discovered Empower Therapy while searching for a local speech therapist in Logan. After meeting with Briana for an evaluation of our nonverbal child, we moved forward with the speech therapy process. Briana consistently provides exceptional care, and our child has made significant progress. She demonstrates genuine passion for her work, and the receptionist is always courteous, helpful, and responsive to any questions. The facility is outstanding and thoughtfully designed to be sensory-friendly. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and support of the entire team.
