My children have been going here for a year and it has been absolutely mind blowing and a huge sense of relief for them and for myself. Having a family with autism and who have special needs is a privilege and a great opportunity to think about what more can you do to support their growth, independence and build strong relationships with others. I have been fortunate to have met some amazing therapists and tech professionals whom have been involved in my family’s development and this place is just one of the most worry free decisions I have made in a long time. They give me help knowledge and guidance that has been a voices of reason in my life and my children’s lives. I can tell you all the wonderful things about the Tech professionals and the BCBA’s and how they go over and beyond, by keeping you informed and involved in your child’s development journey, and make them feel welcome and valued in every moment they are there, but it something you have to experience and be willing to dive in WITH your children to see and grow with your children and the REMARKABLE STAFF at this place. Be willing to be involved and make the well needed changes that we all need to make to see growth and independence in your children and yourself throughout the process and stick with it especially at home cause that’s where it counts!! They are there to help us and our children accomplish goals and build self confidence in each other but we must be present and willing to use the feedback that we receive so we can see the results and be willing to share information that can help them help our children achieve goals that they desperately need to achieve. This builds confidence and trust in you both. We can’t shield them forever nor should we let them run free when we know they aren’t ready, but this is a great step forward in the right direction to help them and yourself make those goals happen as they grow. Patience is key and showing up is key. Life does happen, yes they are understanding but keep in mind that it’s a learning experience not just for the child but for us as caregivers and parents! Thanks for everything see I have learned a lot!! Huh

Do yourself and your child a favor and find somewhere else to take them. There’s a reason everywhere else has a long wait. Had 3 kids go here for about 1.5 years. Switching there school was the best thing we ever did. They have learned more in 2-3 months than they ever did here at Jax. There is a constant change in staff. Ms. Evelyn was about the only one that seemed to care and do anything. I didn’t feel like there was a threat to the kids safety, so if you need a daycare temporarily to wait for another therapy place to have a spot it should be fine. I always felt like this was just a way to take advantage of the insurance company. Most of the staff clearly had no clue what they were doing and the person that did have a degree was rarely there.
