Please be warned if your child has OD or IED associated with severe ADHD please do not attempt to even contact shine Behavioral. Our son has OD and IED with severe ADHD which we told them up front but they told us it would probably be okay and it would be $600 for a one-day assessment we were desperate so we agreed they called us halfway through the day saying that he was disruptive and that they wouldn't be able to take him and they told us we don't take kids like that so I asked them why would even do the assessment if they knew he was disruptive and had OD or IED they did not have any answers they just took our $600

My son attends Shine, and I have witnessed tremendous growth both academically and socially. He is actively engaged in his schoolwork, and the combination of quality education and supportive therapy has made a noticeable difference in his development. The staff truly understands his needs, and I am grateful for the nurturing and structured environment they provide.

My daughter is about to finish her first semester, she is autistic and is mildly non verbal. She enjoys going to school and I feel like with the small classrooms she is able to learn much better than a normal school. The environment is also very safe and I do not need to worry about drugs, or any violence like a public school.

The place sounds amazing. Unfortunately it costs 20,000$ with 10,000$ up front. So you basically have to be relatively well off. I have a normal wage so I can’t afford it as much as I think my son could benefit from it. This isn’t to bash the school, just letting the average person know so that they don’t waste their or Shine Behavorial’s time.
