Our experience receiving therapy from this company has been top notch! Owners, staff and therapists are the best at their craft! Not only are they there for our children but, are always available to assist us parents with whatever help we need. As the parent of a child on the Autism spectrum, I have experienced highs and extreme lows. There is an overwhelming feeling of constant uncertainty on this journey. However, with the right support, life can be much easier on the entire family unit. Behavioral Initiatives, LLC has become more than just a local business for us, we consider them family. I have never felt more comfortable around another group of professionals as I feel with them and having my child being left in their care. I can honestly say that without the therapy they have provided for my girl, we may have been quite distraught at this stage of her life. She had made great strides! When she started she was completely non verbal. Now, she is minimally verbal, knows some sign language and uses a speech device to help her communicate what she cannot say yet. They even helped her with potty training, which I felt was virtually impossible! This was accomplished with the help of this awesome team! Her maladaptive behaviors have decreased significantly, especially meltdowns, crying, frustrations and escaping. This is something to celebrate! The parent trainings they provide teach us parents and caregivers how to properly approach our children in different difficult situations. It helps us to manage stress well and effectively de-escalate our children. Ultimately, harmony can eventually be restored in the home. I don't know where we would be without Behavioral Initiatives, LLC. I would 100% recommend their services to any family that has a child with Autism or related disabilities.
