Dr. K is Amazing! He put me right at ease and you don't even realize you are suddenly sharing info you didn't plan on. He really listens and helps you understand what you're feeling and ways to process it. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I love the providers.. very informative and helpful.. I was very nervous about speaking to someone about my issues but once I was speaking to the provider I felt at ease and in the end I felt well taken care of. I would highly recommend! Thank you for listening to me and understanding my situation!

So disappointed. Waited forever to get an apt for testing. Staff is unhelpful. The intake paperwork is absurd and in my opinion racially bias. I have never had a health clinic Require legal status race or nationality. They may ask but never Require. I reached out about my concern and was told it is what it is and it needed to be filled out.

Scheduled an appointment on a holiday, staff didn’t inform me that they were closed till the week of my appointment -had to reschedule. Moved my appointment for a telehealth on a different day, they needed vitals from their clinic the day before (what’s the point of offering telehealth if you have to drive out anyways for vitals?), but was not informed how to attend the appointment virtually. Was hoping to receive text messages in regards to appointment time and instructions -I did not. Fast forward a month later, I received a fat charge of $80 for a no show appointment that I was not informed about. I do take some responsibility as I should have reached out and clarified the when’s and the where’s; but if I’m subscribed to text messages I would like to receive them so I would know. I can’t call on a work day with my sporadic employer and the only days I have off to call the office is closed. The people are great, but the patient portal and ease of access with appointments have been a pain.

So, my son went there for a while a couple of years ago. There was a lot of staff turn over. So when he had a good provider it was good. But the main people he was with were aids with minimal experience in child development. It wasn't terrible but compared to what he has now through granite school district with an IEP is a night and day difference. Also it's public so it's free. He now has a team with a special education teacher, OT and ST that work together and focus on sensory regulation. Even though I filled out paperwork to have his then ST and OT (at a different location) talk with ABA from what I saw there was no communication going on. I almost never post bad reviews and have mixed feelings posting this but it feels like the right thing to do. So I figured I would on the hope that if you're thinking about this option for a preschool aged child you may be better off checking out the public schools and getting an IEP. But of course you do you. No one else can. Lol. Furthermore, we got behind and granted we should have called and kept up on getting it taken care of but you know life and my own nuerodivergence to deal with so we fell behind financially and didn't take care of it in a timely manner. But also they are quick in general to send to collections and threaten to terminate services. I'm miffed but also I'm at fault here. So it is what it is. Did I mention public education is free? And you don't have to deal with insurance. Yay! While some individuals that were there were very nice and kind to my son the overall experience was lacking. The session I sat in on wasn't bad but also didn't impress me much. I give a lot of grace here I understand it's a hard job. I don't blame the individual aids here at all. I think how treatment is conducted is flawed. There is no substitute for a multi approach team of consistant educational professionals. Also I think it is very telling that while it was difficult to set up a session where I could sit in on it and observe, now at his current preschool they welcome parent participation and volunteering. Also the ABA location it wasn't flexible on cancelations so often I would send my kid when I should have kept him home. I guess its one of those things where you learn to trust your instincts in regards to your such things. Whereas his current preschool understands and has been very gracious about if he has had to miss days. He's an autistic toddler it's not realistic to expect that kind of attendance. Also thinking back he had a lot of melt down days at ABA. Since moving to his new preschool he has mostly good days. Actually he hasn't had major incident there now there i think on it. Also ABA pick up was from the car in the parking lot. Now I drop him off at the door so I meet other parents and kids in his class which is nice. So yeah. I ran my kiddo all around. Spent a lot of money. I sigh thinking about the opportunity cost of it. Thinking I was doing what was best for my kid. Overall it wasn't worth it. I think he would have been better off at preschool or with a good babysitter for that matter. Or taking him myself to more storytimes and play dates. Time is a limited commodity. So more ABA and therapy means less other things happening. So in closing it was not worth the time, trouble or money. Anyway I guess the point I want to make is don't rule out your options. There is a lot of bad press on the internet about IEPs. I wish I would have explored that option sooner. Nothing is prefect. I'm certainly not. His time here had some really good points where he made progress. But especially at the time when I pulled him out it was a different person every time I dropped him off and it was very jarring for him. Thanks for listening to my ted talk. Climbing down from my soapbox and getting off the internet. I hope this is helpful. Well, I feel better anyway. I guess my aims weren't entirely altruistic. Have a good day! Emily out!

Very frustrated with our experience with UTBS. We liked our provider and only had to see her periodically for medication maintenance. After about a month of trying to get a refill request approved, we now have been told that apparently our provider no longer works there. We were not informed of this until we called many times, were denied an appointment with no explanation, and then finally had a supervisor be semi-straight with us (still very unclear what is actually going on; it felt like they were trying to hide something from us). We had been waiting on a medication refill for almost a month and no one would return voicemails or emails. Now we are left without a provider, out of medication, and their other provider’s schedule is full and doesn’t take our insurance. I was promised a call back from the office staff and didn’t receive that either. For a place that is supposed to provide VITAL mental health care to people who need it, I am very disappointed and upset.

Mental Health has ALWAYS had some stigma for my family. In 2020, during COVID, I broke! That in conjunction with some very old unresolved traumas I found myself needing some extra help. I started speaking with Megan Manning in April/May and was seeing some improvement. I had an attempt to end my life at the end of 2020 and also began speaking with Harmony Johnston. These two have help me tremendously. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a solid mental heath team. They are so welcoming, even though we haven't met in person. They make you feel so secure and go above & beyond.
